Podcasts and Live Radio
How can Podcasting help improve my search for employment or employees?
Revitalizing Michigan and ResuméTalks.org will be offering Podcasts with the purpose of broadcasting job-related information. Our podcasts will be professionally hosted and will include sponsors, professional hiring agents, and job-seekers enrolled in ResumeTalks.org. The shows will be approximately 30 minutes in length and will be available for review on our website.
How Does Podcasting Work?
A digital audio or video is created and may include any of the following content:
A speech by a job-related sponsor, employer, hiring agent, or job seeker
A panel discussion between a recruiting professional and one or more job-seeking candidates
An interview with a hiring agent, job seeker, or work-related sponsor
Case histories from work-related sponsors
Sponsor related communications on new work-related programs
The digital audio/video is edited and a finished program is made available for listeners or viewers through a hyperlink on our website or by subscription to a "podcast feed". Interested parties can download the program, listen or view it on their computers, portable digital music players (iPod) or burn it to CDs. Podcasting extends the life of your job-related search to audiences that otherwise would not participate because of schedule and travel constraints, and demonstrates the seriousness of your job-search to prospective listeners.
